Miss Fix-It

I have progressed!! Be proud! I have graduated from changing cabinet hardware to working with electricity–turned off, of course–and everything in between!

Since my last post in October, I have changed my cabinet hardware, replaced my kitchen faucet, changed out multiple switchplates, changed actual switches and plugs, replaced a bad doorknob and finally yesterday I installed a new bathroom lighting fixture.

I guess it really does come down to the fact that I work at a home improvement store that I have finally gained the knowledge and impetus to forge ahead and conquer these tasks that I have set before myself. And I have come out victorious! I’m really just boasting, I know, but I’m just so tickled that I can actually do these things now that I can’t help but share my successes with the world. Sure it probably seems like easy work to some and I agree that portions of it are in fact quite easy to acheive, but at the same time, I’m so happy I’ve gained the knowledge and confidence that I just can’t help myself.

So now I’m going to go and enjoy my success with a hot shower in my well-lit bathroom
